Paisha needs a CAR

Getting around Columbus is not an easy task. Public transportation lacks depth and breadth to fully and easily reach all parts of the metro area, let alone the county. A much-needed key to access and mobility is having access to a car.

For those of you that personally know Paisha, know that she is a giver. She gives to her community. She gives of her talent that is both musical and artistic. She gives of her time in activism and she gives to her family and friends her time and love.

We believe that mutual aid is a key and vital part of supporting one another and because of disparities in generational wealth and access to services and support, sometimes, our community is all you have to rely on. 

So, with that in mind, and with that spirit at heart, we, her friends and community are asking each of you and all of you to pitch in and toss something into the kitty. Think of this as an old school down payment party when folks would gather and put what they could share into the basket to allow folks to buy a car, a house, a suit...whatever they needed to level up.

In speaking with Paisha, we are hoping to raise $6,500 minimum to ensure she is able to secure a reliable vehicle that will allow her to move about as her needs and wants arise. This will allow her to get to gigs more easily but also be more available and accessible to those she holds dear.

At this time, anything we raise in excess of the goal will be applied towards insurance and held for regular maintenance of the vehicle.
