</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Pero la realidad es dura:
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Cada dólar cuenta:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
</li>
</li>
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Este no es un trabajo simbólico.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Es un trabajo de supervivencia.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Por favor, dona hoy, mientras estos nidos aún puedan protegerse.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>El plazo es limitado. La necesidad es inmediata. Y las aves no pueden esperar.
</div>

Dra. LoraKim Joyner

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hi, I'm Gail Koelln, and I am reaching out to you to support One Earth Conservation's recently launched Unconditional Solidarity Campaign.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Right now, as macaws begin to nest in the forests and savannas of Honduras, their survival depends on whether someone is watching. Bird lovers know this truth: once a nest is lost, a future disappears with it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Right now in La Moskitia, Honduras, endangered macaws are entering a critical nesting season. And with it comes a surge in illegal poaching driven by the global wildlife and exotic pet trade. Without constant protection, many of these nests will not survive.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For more than 15 years, One Earth Conservation has worked alongside Indigenous communities to protect these birds—guarding nests, rescuing parrots, and returning them to the wild. Together, we have safeguarded over 1,000 macaw nests that would otherwise have been stolen.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But the reality is stark:
</div>
<div>Even with round-the-clock patrols and guardians camping near nests, poaching still reaches nearly 20%. Without funding for fuel, supplies, and trained local patrols, that number will rise—and once a nest is lost, it cannot be replaced.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That’s why we are urgently raising $15,000 to support immediate, on-the-ground protection of macaw nests and the Indigenous guardians who defend them.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every dollar matters:
</div>
<ul>
<li>$50 helps supply food for a patrol team guarding active nests for 10 days
</li>
<li>$100 protects one macaw nest for a month
</li>
<li>$250 supports fuel for motorcycles and field equipment for two months through the most dangerous weeks of the season
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In 2026, Rev. Dr. LoraKim Joyner will travel to La Moskitia to stand in unconditional solidarity—camping alongside community guardians, witnessing the protection of nests firsthand, and sharing daily updates so supporters can stay connected to the endangered birds they are helping save.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is not symbolic work.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is survival work.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you’ve ever paused to watch a parrot in flight, listened to their calls, or felt awe at their presence—this is your chance to act on that love.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please give today, while these nests can still be protected.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The window is narrow. The need is immediate. And the birds cannot wait.
