Friends, family, and peers hear me out! Our business of training athletes at Collegiate Elites is being directly impacted by COVID-19, we are being forced to close our doors at our fitness studio into the unforeseeable future. This is not an easy thing to do and it will put a huge burden on us. We've put years of planning, blood, sweat, and tears to create our own success from our bootstraps. We are healthy, but this is the outcome of this rapidly evolving situation.
"Given the explosion of COVID-19 in our state and globally, I will sign a statewide emergency proclamation tomorrow to temporarily shut down restaurants, bars and entertainment and recreational facilities." -Governor of WA, Jay Inslee
This type of challenge is a problem for us since we are in the business of helping athletes train to get better and our services rely on face to face training and instruction. We take former collegiate athletes and train youth athletes at all levels to become the best athletes they can be! Our services are largely done face to face because that's where the best interaction happens for our athletes to learn and succeed. We take these events very seriously and are doing everything in our power to keep our athletes safe in these times. Closing our doors, even temporarily, will certainly put a strain on our business, but we must accommodate the situation as best as we can. This isn't easy, but I am hoping to lean on our network to get through these challenging times.
If you would like to support our small business we encourage you to make a small purchase from our team shop on our website. We currently have branded hats, t-shirts, socks, and bags in stock. Any purchase of any kind will greatly help us as we work through this difficult time and will directly support our vision of helping more athletes get better and improve in sport!
