<div>We were awarded an adoption center through Forever Branded back in April. I didn't make an official announcement because I was concerned those who have been harassing me would stop at nothing to block us from helping more mustangs at SMA.

<div>Unfortunately, I wasn't wrong. These individuals have been trying for months to find anything they can twist and use against us.
</div>

<div>I added a screenshot of an "anonymous" post made by one of these individuals. I think her words say it all. Her goal is to make 100% sure I'm never able to get my hands on another mustang. When this post was made, people started commenting in support of our work... so she deleted her post and reposted with comments disabled. Unfortunately, this is just one of the countless attempts they have made to harm us. It's been a hate campaign to pick apart my life in search of anything to use against us.

<div>Several weeks back, friends shared with me that these individuals were bragging that they had successfully destroyed us

<div>They were telling people that we lost our adoption center and ability for me to adopt mustangs myself. I reached out to BLM and they confirmed an investigation had been launched against me

<div>I can't express the pain I felt discovering this information second hand through these hateful people. I'll be perfectly honest. The constant harassment and harm these people have caused has put me in a dark place mentally. I've had to fight for my life at every turn in my attempt to keep breathing.

<div>As if this wasn't bad enough, the following week one of these individuals solicited a third party to post the Pry video to social media. I've never met this person. The people who prompted the social media hellstorm had absolutely no first had knowledge of the situation. They saw an opportunity to weaponize one of the worst days of my life against me... with no context. Instead, they gave a second hand account of these events based on nothing more than assumptions.

<div>IMO the only real reason to post the video was to hurt me more... to destroy all hope and my will to continue. There was already an active investigation via BLM. Our adoption center had already been put on hold. It feels like their quest for blood had been insatiable.

<div>I've been afraid to speak up because every time I try to take a stand... they attack and push harder. I wouldn't be surprised if they retaliate against me for making this post, but the truth needs to be said.

<div>Ironically, this whole mess started with an accusation that I "starved" a horse in my care. This was based on hearsay and in direct contrast with video and pictures that prove otherwise. Unfortunately, these people don't seem interested in the truth. They only seem interested in destroying us by any means possible.

<div>I have begged these people to stop harassing me. I never wanted things to go this far, but they have been relentless. The damage has been nearly immeasurable. They have sought to ruin our reputation, destroy SMA, keep us from helping mustangs, and even turn friends and loved ones against us with lies and manipulation. This has spiraled to a point we had to hire an attorney to help protect our lives and our future

<div>I have rehomed several horses and sold lots of belongings to help us get through the financial strain this has brought. I've only done this out of necessity. The downsizing has been an attempt help cover legal fees and get us through this difficult time.

<div>I'm hoping and praying this will get sorted out in the court system before we lose everything.
</div>

<div>I can tell you this... I wouldn't wish this hell on my worst enemy. I never could have imagined people can be so cruel. To make the heartache even worse, these are people I helped with nothing to gain for myself personally.

<div>I will continue to list saddles and other horse care items to raise funds. I never wanted to ask for help. I feel awful asking for help, but a friend suggested doing a gofundme to help offset our legal costs and help us get through this difficult time.

<div>The love and support we have received has meant the world to us. I can never truly express my gratitude. Please keep praying and sending love.

<div>I have absolutely no ill will towards BLM. I understand they have a duty to properly investigate all complaints made in order to protect our mustangs. Likewise, Forever Branded has all my respect and support. They are an incredible organization who only wants to do right by our mustangs and adopters.

<div>I have virtually no information about the status of the BLM investigation. However, have volunteered a personal statement and evidence has been submitted. I have only been told I will receive a letter once the investigation has concluded.

<div>At this point, it's in God's hands and I will accept whatever happens as part of his will.
