Hi, my name is Yanelisse. I’m 18 years old, and my little sister is 13. For the past three years, our mom, Yanira, has been struggling with severe migraines and chronic health issues.

Recently, doctors discovered a small microadenoma (a small tumor), but we haven’t been able to schedule an appointment with a specialist yet. We are unsure about the exact cause of her worsening migraines, which have now led to multiple seizures every day. It’s been really scary for us to witness. Right now, she can’t engage in her daily activities or live normally due to the frequency of the seizures. She urgently needs to see a specialist, but the costs of doctor visits, tests, and treatments are more than we can handle.

Our mom has always taken care of us and made sure we’re okay. Now it’s our turn to take care of her. I’m trying my best to be strong for my little sister, but we can’t do this alone.
