Hello everyone, we were forced to reinstate this GoFundMe as tax season hit us hard. I feel so embarrassed about it.

We are trying to raise funds to help us get from Florida to Washington state for my daughter's college and we just are struggling so much. Taxes took a lump sum of over a month of pay for me which for someone fighting to afford food lately, has been a battle. Add in medical issues and we are just counting pennies.

I know so many people are struggling right now just to keep their heads above water and I really hate doing this. If there is anything that anyone can give, we would be indebted to you. I will do anything to help with what you might need as well.

My daughter is non binary (I have permission to call them daughter) and as everyone knows, Florida is becoming more and more hostile. They are painting over rainbow crosswalks and tearing down the Pulse nightclub, as well as putting into law for teachers to tell parents if they see a child wanting another pronoun or name. (Should the teacher choose to enforce it.)

I feel so guilty asking for help, it's not in my nature. But if you'd like to help us get to Washington, we would appreciate it beyond measure. Thank you all so much.
