Support Our Girl Sam!
Dear Community of Summit County,
On behalf of our beautiful friend, sister, daughter, mom, hairdresser, SAM, we are reaching out for HELP! The person we always go to for our hair but really listens to all our crisis as she cuts and shapes our hair, she listens and gives advice. BUT this time WE need to be there for her!!
Sam and her entire family are struggling finically because of the tragedy of losing her baby girl. This is something that I can deeply relate to and I know our girl NEEDS some help from us so she can continue to greive and not rush back to work. She has 2 teenage boys that can put down a healthy amount of food, moving to a new home and all this stress doesn't help the healing process! I've seen this community come together before to help and I have no doubt we can do it again to get our girl through this extremely tragic event in Sam's life. If you don't know, heres Sam's story from her own words...
"On May 17th 2020 Jason and I held our daughter Oliviana for the first and last time. On Sunday morning at 31 wks pregnant I started having anxiety and concerns about the lack of movement I was feeling at her usually 5AM party time.
I contacted my doctor and was instructed to go into labor and delivery for fetal monitoring.
When I arrived they were unable to find her heartbeat and we were informed our sweet Oliviana had passed.
Because she was breech and we had no choice but to have a C-Section.
During the procedure they discovered the umbilical cord had wrapped around her neck 3 times. Beyond that she was perfect. Healthy and beatiful.
We were given the opportunity to hold her and love her during the hours that passed.
At this time our entire family is devastated, feeling confused, empty, lost and broken hearted. My parents arrived on Monday and are being amazing support and bringing loads of love, helping us with our amazing boys and everything else. I am home and we are starting the journey into this new reality while tending to our emotional and physical recovery.
I want to say Thank You to everyone who is checking in on us. Sending supportive and thoughtful messages and bringing dinners, flowers and care packages. The outpouring of love is overwhelming but so needed and appreciated.
I apologize in advance if I (we) have not gotten back to you via text, call, email or messenger. I will try to respond to everyone in time.
With All the Love,
Sam, Jason, Xavier and Kaleb.
