Due to the mandated COVID-19 closures, we sadly closed our doors on 3/18. It was heartbreaking to lay of our entire staff to unemployment. No one wants to do that.
If you have frequented our space you will know that we absolutely love our team. We are a family and we always will be. We have created a space for our staff to flourish through this energy. The majority of our staff members have been with us since the very beginning. The Flamingo House would not be what it is without them, their hard work, and their perseverance. For all of those who have enjoyed cocktails, our food, and danced with us you know them by name and they know you. Big THANK YOU to our regulars!
In this time we ask for your support to help them out so we can offer them the financial assistance they need. This way they can continue to pay for their health insurance, rent, and continue put food on their table in a stressful time like this.
We want you to know that we are doing our absolute best to reach out to the local and federal government for assistance and relief. However, we must consider and utilize all other options and avenues to help fulfill our staff needs. We want you to know that we are also working tirelessly to find ways to reopen to ensure that our staff has somewhere they can count on for financial stability in this time of need.
We are asking you for your help now! We will continue to reassure all of our patrons that we will reopen after this bump in the road, and the return of job stability to each and every one of our employees.
No donation is too small, every little bit helps!
