<div>Hello and thank you for taking the time to read our story. My wife and I have three beautiful babies, two of which have been diagnosed with Autism for some time now. Kieran is our oldest at 6 and Violet is our daughter, age 5. Our son is diagnosed as level 3 on the autism spectrum and our daughter as level 1.

<div>Unfortunately, moving home to Florida following my six years in the U.S. Army has not been easy for us and especially hard for our children. We were not aware at the time of the sheer lack of resources for kids with disabilities here in Florida. We moved back for a great job opportunity and to be closer to family, and recently that job was lost unexpectedly. I also recently lost a potential job prospect that would assist with relocation to California and it is proving difficult before becoming residents to receive any offers.

<div>This has left us in an extremely vulnerable situation, however, we are trying to turn it into a positive outcome. <strong>We are attempting to move to the west coast, California specifically, in order for our kids to receive the ASD-related care they so desperately need and deserve.</strong> Becoming residents in California would also allow my wife to receive some compensation for her exhausting job as a caregiver and SAHM to our children<strong>.</strong> Due to the unexpected loss of my job, we were not able to save much for this new journey in life. Any money received would go directly to helping us relocate and stabilize while waiting for disability compensation for our kids. <strong>Even just sharing would mean the world to me. </strong>Thank you.

<div><strong>UPDATE: </strong>Although we were not able to move out of state, we were finally granted Medicaid for our family! This is a huge blessing for our children as they can now get all the therapy that we could never possibly afford prior to my loss of employment. It is extremely difficult for me to remain unemployed, however, we believe it may be best for our family in the long term. Again, thank you so much for your kindness in this difficult time ♥
