<div>On February 24, 2026, our family’s life changed in an instant. That morning, my husband was arrested by ICE shortly after dropping our youngest daughter off with her caregiver. Since then, every day has been a struggle to keep our family strong while we wait and hope to be together again.

<div>My husband is a loving husband, a devoted father, and a hardworking man who has always put his family first. He has spent his life providing for us through honest work and treating others with kindness and compassion. To our children, he is more than a father. He is the person who makes them feel safe, loved, and protected.

<div>His absence has left an unimaginable void. I am now raising our children and supporting our household on my own while trying to give them the stability they deserve. One of our daughters has a disability and needs extra care and consistency, making this journey even more challenging for our family. Every day, our children ask when their dad is coming home, and every day I pray that I can tell them, “Soon.”

<div>Since his arrest, my husband has been transferred between detention centers in Buffalo and California, making it even harder for our family to stay connected while his legal case continues.

Esa mañana, mi esposo fue arrestado por el Servicio de Inmigración y Control de Aduanas (ICE) poco después de dejar a nuestra hija menor con su cuidadora. Desde entonces, cada día ha sido una lucha para mantener fuerte a nuestra familia mientras esperamos y confiamos en volver a estar juntos.

<div>Mi esposo es un compañero amoroso, un padre devoto y un hombre trabajador que siempre ha puesto a su familia primero. Ha dedicado su vida a proveer para nosotros a través del trabajo honrado y a tratar a los demás con amabilidad y compasión. Para nuestras hijas, él es más que un padre: es la persona que los hace sentir seguras, amadas y protegidas.
