Hello friends and family. If you have spent time with my wife, you would know what an incredible person she is. She loves everything outdoors! She is my rock and has supported me every step of the way with my PTSD. We have 4 girls, and she is beyond the heart and soul of our family. She is the sports mom, Dr. mom, I-need-a-dress-tomorrow mom, who truly enjoys helping others. Unfortunately, the last 2 years have spun downhill. What started with numb hands turned into a nightmare of weakness, loss of fine motor skills, memory loss, cognitive problems, walking issues, and needing assistance every day, along with extreme pain. I truly feel like she is being stripped away. After 2 years of testing, driving 8 hours to see doctors, and getting second opinions, they are saying she has a rare spine condition called Adult Tethered Cord Syndrome. And there is no cure. They suggested a surgery to hopefully stop it from progressing, but it is not covered by insurance and she has needed me home a lot and will continue to need help.
