After 12 years in an abusive marriage, I made the difficult decision to leave in order to protect my children, Emma and Jackson, and to pursue a life of freedom and independence. We moved into our own apartment, hoping for a fresh start. Unfortunately, due to health issues, I had to stop working for a period of time, which caused me to fall behind on rent. Now, despite my efforts and a new job starting soon, we are facing eviction with only hours left to resolve the situation.

 Emma, my daughter, is passionate about psychology and dreams of traveling the world. Jackson, my son, is an avid reader with a deep interest in zoology. Both of them have been deeply affected by the uncertainty and anxiety of our situation. They are struggling to focus on their schoolwork and jobs, and their main concern is our family’s safety and stability. It’s heartbreaking to see them carry this burden, especially after all we’ve overcome together.

 The funds raised will go directly toward covering our back rent, late fees, and attorney costs. Any additional support will help us keep up with utilities and basic needs. If we are able to stay in our home, I will be able to start my new job, rebuild our stability, and give Emma and Jackson the peace of mind they deserve.
