This year, our family experienced an unimaginable loss. My grandmother, a woman who was the heart of our family, passed away on December 2, 2024. She was more than just a grandmother—she was a mother, a best friend, and a source of love, wisdom, and strength for everyone around her.
In mid-July, our lives were turned upside down when she suffered a brain hemorrhage while alone. It left half of her body paralyzed and took away her ability to speak. Despite her condition, she showed incredible resilience as she went through months of hospitalization, therapy centers, and home care.
In November, during what would be her final hospital stay, we received devastating news. The doctors discovered she had cancer—something none of us had known. The cancer had spread silently, only becoming evident after fluid built up in her lungs, causing her health to deteriorate rapidly. Even in the face of these challenges, we held on to hope, praying for a miracle.
Sadly, on December 2, she passed away, leaving a void in our hearts that can never be filled. My mother, her daughter and lifelong companion, is devastated. They were inseparable, sharing a bond that only a mother and daughter could understand. My grandmother was her best friend, her backbone, and her constant source of comfort.
Now, as we prepare to lay her to rest, we are asking for your support. The costs of her medical care and now her funeral have placed a heavy burden on our family. We want to honor her memory with the love and dignity she deserves, but we cannot do it alone.
We kindly ask you to share and contribute to this fundraiser. Any amount, no matter how small, will go directly toward covering her funeral expenses. Your generosity means the world to us in this difficult time.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support, your prayers, and your kindness. May God bless you and your loved ones.
