The Story

Our friend and business colleague traveled from Texas to the New Jersey/New York City area at the end of July, eager to share his expertise at a major conference. Instead of podium lights and applause, he was met with sudden, severe pain—later diagnosed as spinal stenosis. Facing an urgent situation, he underwent emergency surgery in New Jersey because traveling home would have been too dangerous.

He and his eldest son have remained by each other’s side in the hospital ever since. They’re far from their home community and facing an uncertain road ahead.
