<div>Zain is a leader in the Canadian climate movement. He helped win divestment from fossil fuels at his university and co-founded the group Save Old Growth which brought tremendous attention to the logging of thousand-year-old trees in British Columbia.

<div>He is dedicated to waking up Canadians to the climate emergency. He feels the Global North must understand the acute climate-induced suffering in the global South.  Spreading this message is his moral responsibility.

<div>His student visa has been revoked, and there is a removal order in place for him.
