Community Mobile Clinic and Lab Fundraising

Mercytree International Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing better health and medical care services for the less privileged in the rural communities of sub-Sahara Africa.

It is a well-known fact that the condition of public medical care and infrastructure in Sub Sahara Africa is, in a word, lacking. The Substandard healthcare service available in the cities and provided by costly private clinics are unaffordable and not accessible for the poor families in the rural communities.

In an ideal society, this would not be the situation. But sadly, about 80% of families, mostly those in the middle-income bracket and below, depend on public healthcare facilities with chronic shortages of critical drugs. Many patients die of easily curable diseases.

This situation is worst for families in rural communities where access to even government health centers is very few or does not exist. They often must take time off from their farms and schools to travel many kilometers to the nearest healthcare facility, with no assurance of adequate treatment or availability of needed medical care. It means that they will only risk going only when they are already extremely sick.


We reviewed the state of health care systems in these rural communities of sub-Sahara in Africa, with analyses of how to address some of the healthcare challenges they face. Our healthcare plan ensures that families live healthily and promote the well-being of all the communities.

The main focus of our work over the years is to bring the following and more to the people living in these rural communities of sub-Sahara Africa:

·         support data analytics for better health

·         support medical care improvement for families.

·         make medical care benefits more available and affordable for families.

·         improve public wellbeing and medical care culture through education.


MISSIONS
Our Mission is to build a strong healthcare culture with community initiatives in rural Sub Sahara Africa with improved healthcare delivery programs.


THE PLAN
Our program goal is to improve healthcare and promote quality medical care delivery in the rural communities Sub Sahara Africa. To achieve this goal, we are converting a 40ft motorcoach to a mobile clinic and a 24ft Mercedes Sprinter to a mobile lab. These also include shipping, clearing, documentation, and licenses.

Our Mobile Clinic Program has been responsive in addressing the incidence of chronic and infectious diseases in rural communities we serve in Sub Saharan Africa communities. There is no restriction on where we can go. It improves our response time in medical emergencies.

Our Mobile Clinic Program supports rural communities with no access to healthcare infrastructure. It improves public health, clinical care, healthcare penetration, creates a unique holistic approach for delivering comprehensive primary and preventive care, health education, and advocacy.

To continue providing quality and sustainable medical care, we will be converting a 40ft motorcoach into a mobile clinic with three-exam rooms. We need your support to raise $100,000 for this project that will improve the quality of our service deliveries.

The mobile clinic motorcoach will address the issue of accessibility and high logistics expenses while preserving the highest standard of preventative patient care by using technology that is at the forefront of medical care delivery today.

We believe that the Mobile Clinic motorcoach is the best thing for our health delivery needs. Technology has made it possible to bring an entire examination room and test lab on the road and to effectively take care of and improve the health of those we serve in the rural communities of Sub-Sahara Africa.

The mobile lab will provide our doctors with a better diagnosis and understanding of the patient's sickness for better treatment and prescription. The mobile lab allows us to make an informed medical decision. Provide fast turn-around time for accurate and reliable data needed for a complete on-the-spot diagnosis and treatment.

To achieve sustainable medical care, the mobile lab will provide our doctors with the ability to diagnose and analyze the patient's illness with lab test results. Our doctors need to make medical decisions based on medical lab test results and other diagnoses.

Adding a medical lab to our community healthcare service program will improve the quality of care we provide. Support us to raise $70,000 for the Mobile Lab Project.
