<div>Hello, I'm Scot Morrison and I teach Career Exploration and Technology Education at Onsted Community Schools. I’m writing to you today because I believe every one of my students deserves the chance to design, innovate, and master the technology skills that will shape their futures. Right now, our outdated equipment is holding them back.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our existing computers crash during simple web research and simply cannot run the design software needed for the projects my students are most excited about, like project design and management, 3D modeling and new AI literacy tools. I hate seeing their frustration when valuable class time is lost to lag and reboots.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is Where You Come In: The Deal of a Lifetime
</div>
<div>I have just found an unprecedented, time-sensitive deal to completely upgrade our entire lab. This is a chance to secure 23 incredible machines—and we need to act now before the inventory is gone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We need to raise $6,700 to purchase 23 identical, enterprise-grade Dell Latitude laptops.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I know that sounds like a big goal, but this is a smart, long-term investment in quality. These aren't budget, consumer-grade machines. They are durable, commercial-level laptops that are built to withstand the rigors of a busy Shop/classroom and last for years.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every laptop is Grade A (Like New) cosmetically.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every laptop has a powerful Intel Core i5 (11th Gen) processor and 8GB of RAM—the exact specs needed to run serious programs like 3D slicers and advanced design software.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>By investing in this single, powerful fleet, every student will get a reliable workstation. This guarantees no more crashes, no more waiting, and no more frustration—just learning.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What We Will Build Together
</div>
<div>Your donation is a direct investment in opportunity. With these 23 "Power Stations," we can finally launch the curriculum my students are begging for:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A working 3D Printing Lab: Students will be able to design a product in software, prepare the file for printing, and execute the final build, all on fast, reliable hardware.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Essential AI Literacy: We can integrate the use of emerging AI tools, teaching students how to use them ethically and effectively for research and problem-solving—a critical skill for their future careers.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Digital Equity: We eliminate the classroom technology gap entirely by giving every student the best possible tool.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Where the $6,700 Goes (Transparency)
</div>
<div>We are being transparent about every dollar. The $6,700 goal includes:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>23 Dell Latitude Laptops: At an average cost of about $289 per unit.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any extra money will be used for Accessories: Durable cases and security locks for every machine.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Buffer: A small amount to cover GoFundMe processing fees and taxes.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please consider contributing the cost of one full laptop ($289) or even just $50 to help us secure a case and accessories.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am asking for your help today to secure this crucial equipment. If you cannot donate, please share this campaign with anyone who believes that technology should open doors, not close them. Thank you for making my students’ dreams a reality.
