Update: Months have passed with many tests/scans and unfortunately there has been no good news for Oni.

Several more tumors have been found as she sought diagnosis and treatment in Palm Springs. The doctors believe she has a Lymphoproliferative Disorder mixed with DIE/Inflammatory Psudotumor, which are incredibly rare together. She is currently waiting to see if UCLA will accept her for treatment/surgery as her current hospital can only try to manage her conditions at this point. As you might imagine the emotional and financial strain that comes with this is huge. Please consider donating if you are able and please share her story anywhere you think might be able to help!

Hey all! We are asking for help supporting a dear friend and fellow nomad that has recently received some bad news. Oni discovered a large tumor near her hip which has now been diagnosed as cancer. She’s currently on low-dose chemo while she plans out her next steps for surgery and recovery.

Oni is a muralist, artist, dog mom to Charlie & Tunza, and soon to be tattoo artist! She’s no stranger to hardship as she has navigated chronic illness all her life. She’s a bit shy, but prides herself on not letting anything hold her back and being highly independent. Dealing with this alone is extremely difficult, so with quite a bit of convincing, she’s decided to let others in on her journey.

As you can imagine, this is a scary road to be on with many unknowns ahead. We are asking for ANY kind of support that you are able to offer.

She will have all sorts of financial expenses coming up if you are able to help! If not, she also needs logistical and emotional support if you're around! She’ll be in J Tree for VansGiving/early December, so don’t be afraid to say hello!!!
