<div>My incredible best friend of 15 years, Jazmin, welcomed her beautiful daughter Olivia in 2022 at just 16 years old. From that moment on, she has grown into one of the most devoted and inspiring mothers I know, raising Olivia into the brightest, most loving and bubbly little girl.

<div>On February 20th, 2026, their whole world changed when Olivia was diagnosed with Stage 4 Wilms tumour, a cancer that primarily affects young children.

<div>The first signs appeared when Jazmin noticed Olivia’s tummy seemed larger than usual. At first, it was easy to assume it was something minor, but something in Jazmin’s heart told her otherwise. Trusting that instinct led to the diagnosis no parent is ever prepared for.

<div>The tumour was attached to Olivia’s left kidney and had grown so extensively that her kidney was no longer functioning, also taking over her adrenal gland and a small spot on her liver. At just three years old, Olivia bravely underwent her first procedure to have a central line placed so she could begin chemotherapy.

<div>Over the past six weeks, she has faced chemotherapy with incredible strength, and thankfully, the tumour responded well enough for surgery. Just one week ago, Olivia underwent a 9-hour, high-risk operation where doctors successfully removed the tumour, along with her kidney and adrenal gland.

<div>Olivia and her family are based on the Gold Coast but have had to relocate to Brisbane to stay close to the children’s hospital for ongoing treatment. This has placed a significant emotional and financial strain on their lives.


</div>

<div>To be by Olivia’s side through this, Jazmin has had to temporarily step away from her business and put her studies on hold in order to relocate and remain close to the hospital.


</div>

<div>This week, Olivia begins two weeks of full abdominal radiation. Because of her age, she will need to go under general anaesthetic each day. After this, she still faces at least another six months of chemotherapy.

<div>Through it all, Olivia continues to show the most incredible strength, and Jazmin has not left her side for a second.


</div>

<div>We are raising funds to help support Olivia and her family during this incredibly difficult time, helping ease the financial pressure while they are away from home so Jazmin can focus entirely on being there for her little girl as she continues to fight.
