This GoFundMe was created for Oliver! Oliver was recently found rummaging for food on the streets of Tecate. While feeding Oliver, it became apparent that his front paw was broken, making it even more difficult for him to protect his food from surrounding dogs. I alerted Road to Freedom Rescue of his condition, and the rescue sprang into action. After three days of searching, he was found. Oliver was rushed to a local vet where his condition was determined to be much worse than expected. It was determined that Oliver was suffering from anemia, ehrlichia, anaplasmosis, a kidney infection, and TVT. He was too weak and malnourished to start chemo treatments. He just finished treatment for his infections, and now his chemo will begin. Sadly, Oliver’s leg cannot be saved as the injury is old. Once his chemo treatments are complete, a portion of his leg will be amputated in an effort to improve his quality of life.

Oliver’s medical bills thus far total $900, and this doesn’t include chemo treatments or the amputation. Any donations would be greatly appreciated!
