<div>I am running my first ever 10k in October. My first ever running race in fact. I also wanted this race to mean something. Something more than my personal health goals. I have loved Ely and the boundary waters ever since the first time I visited the area in 2009. It came from my grandpas love for the area, my grandpa bringing my grandma, my mom and aunts, later inviting the whole family. Then I brought my husband and kids.
