Support Noemi in the Loss of Her Beloved James

Hi, my name is Kim Glover and on behalf of family and extended family, I'm hoping to raise funds for my sister-in-love, Noemi Edington, who lost her beloved husband James (Jimmy) on September 10, 2021.

 

Noemi and Jimmy were each other's second marriage, joined together just over 5 years ago. Noemi's first husband was my late brother, which is how she came into my life, and why we will always be sisters. Noemi's family is my family, and my family is Noemi's family.

 

Noemi and Jimmy lived a life like most Americans: working hard to earn a living and putting their families first. They didn't take expensive vacations or spend money on frills; they were always the first ones to help when someone needed it, regardless of their own situation. Her two daughters and his two daughters and son were their priorities, and they shared a quiet, rewarding life made rich by their love, their shared sense of humor and that emotional security that comes from knowing that you are totally and completely understood, seen for who you really are (both strengths and flaws) and loved unconditionally.

 

Jimmy's early, unexpected death from complications of the COVID-19 Delta variant creates a huge void in Noemi's life, and her grief is made more complex by the related unexpected and unplanned-for financial challenges of a hospital stay, funeral expenses, and the need to move from San Antonio to Austin to be close to her family as she begins the process of the rebuilding her life.

 

Because Noemi and Jimmy are beloved by many who would want to help, even in a small way, we begged Noemi to let us create this fund. A private person, she was very reluctant, and it took multiple family members to convince her that being allowed to participate in even a very small way would be an honor and a privilege for the many people whose lives they've enriched.

 

All funds contributed will be for Noemi's use to get through this difficult period, and we are hoping to reach our goal by October 1.
