Support Nicole’s battle with Cancer

Hello everyone,

We'd like you to meet our dear friend Nicole, a badass woman who has always been a source of strength and support for her friends and loved ones. Today, we're reaching out to share her story and ask for your support as she faces a challenging battle against recurring melanoma.

Being close to Nicole, we've watched her face this uphill battle with fierce courage and determination.  Nicole was first diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma in 2021.  In April, her and her doctors believed they had beaten this cancer.   Until recently when she started to feel symptoms again.   It has now been determined that the cancer, now classified as stage 3, is back and very aggressive.

Nicole has approximately 8 tumors that are dangerously close to a major artery in her chest. She's gearing up for a crucial treatment, and if all goes well, she'll need surgery just two weeks later. This closeness to a major artery will make the surgery dangerous and difficult.  It will also keep Nicole away from work during the busiest time of the year in her line of work as a hair and makeup artist – wedding season.  This season provides income for the entire year, so missing it will take a huge toll on her livelihood. 

Nicole is not only a warrior in her fight against melanoma but also a loving single mom to her 13-year-old daughter, Alix.  She's doing her best to balance her responsibilities as a mother while dealing with the physical and emotional toll of her illness.  This is a serious challenge, especially when her entire family lives far away.

As friends who've seen Nicole's unwavering support for others, and the depth of her kindness and strength, we now want to rally behind her.  The financial strain of medical treatments and being unable to work during her peak season is too heavy a burden for her to bear alone.  Your contributions, no matter the amount, will help significantly in getting through this trying time.
