Support Nicole Boyd's Battle Against Blood Cancer

Nicole Boyd was recently diagnosed with blood cancer. There’s about 100 blood cancers. Nicole has a hybrid of a few. She has been doing chemo therapy and will continue to. She needs our support, love and prayers. She is an incredible mother, wife, friend, aunt, daughter and cousin. She is hardwired to take care of the people around her. Now it's our turn to carry Nicole, Matthew and the girls while they move forward in faith.

Nicole has already gone through so much but still has a long road ahead. From Phase 1 being the unknown diagnosis, the passing out, bruising, bleeding, the fatigue. Phase 2 finding answers through doctors and tests, moving forward with a strategic targeted plan and medicine in faith and not doubt, the hours of treatments, the agony of her bone pain, but most importantly the daily miracles. And now she is in Phase 3. She is home for a little while doing in-clinic treatments, holding the course and hopefully staying steady being nondependent on transfusions. She is prepping until the real work of Phase 4, when she will leave for further treatments and therapy.

Nicole will have a bone marrow transplant and regrow it herself. She will be in the hospital there for 2-3 weeks most likely in isolation. After that they stay another 5-6 weeks living within 1.5 miles of the hospital for daily monitoring.

Fighting cancer is incredibly expensive, from tests, treatment and in patient stays for many months. They will need housing in a different state while they get Nicole the best care possible for her recovery.
