<div>Hi my name is Katie, and I’m fundraising for my sister Nicola who has been recently diagnosed with Cancer outside the bladder and in the lymph nodes of the lungs. This is Nicolas second time being diagnosed with Cancer in the last 5 years. My sister has 3 beautiful girls under the age of 10 and is a young woman of 33 years old herself. As you can imagine life over the next couple of months is going to be tough for Nicola and her kids, with hospital appointments and ongoing treatments, getting the kids back to school, and birthdays, special occasions, moving into a new home and Christmas coming up. We are trying to reduce the stress on Nicola in the upcoming months for the sake of her health and kids mental health.

<div>As most of you know Nicola was diagnosed in 2020 at the young age of 29 with cervical cancer after her last baby, had a full hysterectomy and many sessions of chemo, radiation and brachytherapy. 
</div>
<div>Nicola had to leave her full time position as a child minder due to the sudden change in her health and still cannot work with her health condition. Nicola fought very hard in 2020 to battle the cancer and struggled with her mental health over the last few years. She has spent many years suffering with health anxiety due to the fear of the cancer coming back and as of recently her whole world was turned upside down with this new recent diagnosis. We are all very heartbroken for Nicola and her 3 young children, Lilly aged 10 is struggling to come to terms with her moms diagnosis and as Nicola being a single parent,  is finding it hard to help her and her sisters with their mentality of what Cancer really is and how it affects your body. Nicola unfortunately is going to lose her hair and become very sick in the next coming weeks. It’s more than likely her children are going to need counselling and every support they can get.

<div>So what I’m asking of every kind person out there that knows Nicola and our family and each struggle she has overcome in the last few years, constant battling for her health, struggling with daily life due to unlimited funds, lack of ability to take her girls on days out, struggling with tasks daily due to high pain levels, to donate as little or as much as ye can to make life easier for them over the next few months.

<div>Nicola will be starting treatment next week, which includes aggressive chemotherapy, immunotherapy and possibly of needing surgery for a Colostomy bag due to the invasive treatment for this horrible disease of Cancer that darkened my sisters life for a second time in the last 5 years.
