<div>Nicholas Pollard, Jr. is celebrating his 76th birthday on Sept. 22, 2025. If it weren’t for a large tumor in his thoracic spine, he’d be celebrating like any other year. Walking around, feeding the dogs, going for morning walks, helping with deliveries and pick ups in Placencia Village and enjoying the sea when the waves are out -- he’s never been a big fan of calm waters. He loves the waves!

<div>Unfortunately, Nick has already lost mobility in one leg and can only move around with the aid of a walker. If we don’t get this tumor removed, doctors say he’ll become paralyzed from the neck down.

<div>The surgery will be a tough one, but the chance is one he has to take.
