Lois is creating this fundraiser for her sister, the heart behind Nesha Be Cookin, who is facing an incredibly difficult recovery after being shot while catering an event. Since this happened, she has been unable to walk and cannot work right now. On top of the physical and emotional trauma of what she has been through, she is also trying to get through each day as a mother of three children while bills continue to come due. This has placed a heavy burden on her and her family during a time when her focus needs to be on healing.

The support from this fundraiser will help care for her three children and cover household bills while she is unable to earn an income during recovery. Because these needs do not stop after the first few days or weeks, ongoing support can make a real difference by helping her family keep up with regular expenses as she heals and works toward regaining strength. If you are able, please consider making a recurring donation to provide steady help during this season. One-time donations are also deeply appreciated and will go a long way. Most of all, Lois asks that everyone keep her sister of Nesha Be Cookin in your prayers and support her recovery in any way you can.
