On February 17th, I was shot in the leg on the way to work. Not knowing I was shot, I was trying to help the intended victim of the shooting.l, it was the police officer that recognized I had been shot. Since then, I have struggled, mentally and physically trying to get back on a bus. My car fund was utilized to cover my bills while I recovered and now I want to get back on my feet and get a car so I can stay away from Metro buses in the future.

I will say that I know I am blessed because I am here and, the individual has been arrested.

Im not good at asking for anything and I know that life is expensive, but I am asking if you could assist, any assistance you can provide would be appreciated.
