Hi. After decades of enjoying good health and able to tackle things that came up all on my own, I was hit with a tsunami of dangerous health crises and of course, crises that joined them! That's the way this world goes.
At age, you're supposed to do a colonoscopy and after something suspicious, I did. I was diagnosed with uncurable Crohn's disease.
The test itself injured me and after weeks of agonizing pain, I went to the ER. They told me that my previously VERY well controlled diabetes was so bad, they told me 1 1/5 or 2 hours later, I'd have been dead! I was in ICU for 4 days!
I have high deductible insurance.
Coming home, the water to my building was shut off. My hand must've knocked on a faucet that without me knowing, when I was out of the house, starting flooding the moving-in new neighbor's place -- again, I've got the high deductible insurance.
My sugars are so high, they've raised and raised the doses -- so expensive. My pharmacy can barely keep up, supply-chain wise.
Big co-pays for all the specialists and followup appointments.
Expenses that Crohn's people would get, they're so disgusting. I apparently broke my older toilet and the whole thing must be replaced!
I can only deal with little frozen or whatever low carb meals.
I really need a service to come in here and deep clean, sanitize, change my linens, take out bags of garbage.
I'm all alone and so sad, so scared, so in pain. Anything that anyone can do to make my life a little easier, a little more comfortable, will be appreciated for the rest of my life.
