Hey! My name is Nathanael Jones and am currently a junior at Benedictine College studying finance and sales. About 3 weeks ago I tore my ACL, MCL, and Meniscus. I was playing UBBA (Underground Benedictine Basketball Association) and drove to the basket and twisted my ankle, causing my knee to overcorrect. The upside is that it has forced me to slow down, is sanctifying simply on a pain level and has been incredibly humbling. The downside is that it happened while I didn’t have health insurance and while we have identified a great surgery center that charges a fraction of the standard cost, we still do not have an idea how to pull off the surgery, and therapy after, financially. Asking for money and help is really difficult for me, but I have been strongly encouraged by many people to give others an opportunity to help. I really appreciate any help financially but if you are not able to help in that way, prayers are just as appreciated. Inspired by the model of Mother Teresa in desperate circumstances, I was inspired to initiate a Memorare’ army. The idea is that with a goal of roughly $10,000, we are looking for pray 10,000 memorares in the next nine days to finish on December 8th, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. If you would pray 11 memorares a day, for 9 days for this intention, I would really appreciate it. We have already gotten 90 people committed with more committing by the hour! Thank you so much for your support and I trust that this cross that I have been given will bring a greater glory to our Lord. With a symphony of your prayers and generosity, all will turn out well! Thank you so much for your support!
