<div>This Saturday night (12.28.24) at around 11pm, a fire started inside and destroyed most of their home and belongings. It’s burned down to the bones in most areas of the house, and what isn’t burned has been damaged by smoke and water. A house fire is bad enough but this happening right after Christmas, right in the middle of the holidays is unimaginable and devastating.

<div>At this point this very tight knit family is scattered apart staying where they can and with close to nothing. No clothes, no personal belongings, none of their new Christmas stuff etc. These are things that insurance will hopefully help with but we know that can be a time consuming process. 
</div>

<div>At this point we are so grateful that every soul made it out unharmed. Katy, her two sons, her daughter (who thankfully wasn’t home but all her stuff is gone) and Katy’s sister who is disabled made it out with 5 dogs and two cats. 
</div>

<div>We’re asking for donations for this incredible family so they may find a way to stay together, they can replace everyday needs, get pet food, basically bridge the gap between now and when insurance is able to start stepping up. 
</div>
