Na'sean Kirkland, the beloved son of Keasha Jefferson and Charles Kirkland, was just 13 years old when he passed away this past weekend. Born in Kankakee, Illinois, Na'sean and his brothers, Nathan and Gabriel, shared a deep bond and a unique, unspoken understanding. As the middle of three brothers, Na'sean was especially close to Nathan, and together they navigated life with autism. Despite being non-verbal, Na'sean was known for his charm and the special way he connected with those around him, especially the women in his life. His family, including his grandmothers Doris Stanback and Aquanetta Kirkland, and his special aunt Brenda Jefferson, cherished every moment with him. The family has strong ties to both Kankakee, Illinois and Maitland, Florida, with connections to Edgewater High School, Lodestone Academy, and Lakemont Elementary. Na'sean's passing has left a profound void in the lives of all who knew him.

 In the wake of this tragedy, the family is facing the immediate need to return to their home in Illinois. They are seeking support to cover the funeral and transportation costs necessary to bring Na'sean home to be laid to rest, as well as modest funds to help move the family from Maitland, Florida, back to Illinois. This support will allow them to honor Na'sean's memory and be together as they navigate this heartbreaking time.
