<div>With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved father, husband, and friend, Naranbaatar Balgan.

<div>Mr. Naranbaatar was a devoted husband, a caring father, and a true friend. He was a respected member of the Washington D.C. Mongolian community, where he spent over a decade building meaningful relationships and offering support to those around him. His passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, and we mourn this irreplaceable loss.

<div>Mr. Naranbaatar had been quietly battling ongoing health challenges for some time, and his health had been steadily declining since early 2024.
</div>

<div>Despite being hospitalized and receiving treatments in the United States for an entire year, Mr. Naranbaatar hasn’t seen much progress. The deceased ultimately made a courageous decision to seek traditional medicine in Mongolia earlier this year, hoping for some relief. Unfortunately, his condition remained critical, and was frequently hospitalized.

<div>On July 22, 2025, while in Mongolia, Mr. Naranbaatar was found unresponsive at home and rushed to The First Central Hospital of Mongolia (Улсын 1-р төв эмнэлэг). Despite the tireless efforts of the medical team, he tragically passed away.

<div>The deceased leaves behind his loving wife, Uranzaya, and their two sons, Turbat and Khangal. Turbat is currently serving in the military far from home, while Khangal will soon begin his studies at Katherine Johnson Middle School in Fairfax, VA. With his sudden passing, Uranzaya now faces the immense responsibility of supporting their family alone.

<div>Mr. Naranbaatar was a man of integrity, strength, and warmth. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him.
