<div>I'm Myke. I'm not the kind of person who often asks for help, but I'm at a point where I have to reach out for your support and generosity. For the past few years, I've been struggling with significant dental issues that have not only impacted my health but also my confidence and well-being. I've had dental issues most of my life, starting with a stray dog knocking out my front tooth when I was 12. Dental issues kind of run in my family, I might add.

<div>Due to the insane costs of medical and dental care in the U.S., I had most of my teeth and bite redone in Tijuana approximately 10 years ago. During the COVID-19 lockdown, most of this work started to break down and loosen. I now have no crowns on the bottom and some upper back and loose teeth, so eating has become difficult and painful.

<div><strong>I recently had two front upper implants fall out, which is also embarrassing since I work with the public in a service industry.</strong> My appearance is important in my line of work, so I need to get the front teeth done ASAP. Unfortunately, medical/dental coverage doesn't really cover much since the implants are considered "cosmetic."

<div>My work is commission-based (tattooing), and it has taken a huge hit over the past two years due to the economy. Taking on a second part-time job has helped, but it's not nearly enough to cover dental work, especially since San Diego is now one of the most expensive cities in the country to live in.

<div>I'm also greatly concerned since a dentist informed me that the condition of my teeth could potentially affect my cardiac health. That's why I've created this GoFundMe—<strong>I'm hoping that with your help, I can finally smile again without pain or embarrassment.</strong>
