I have been selected to participate in the University of North Texas Conductor’s Collegium and Workshop, a 12-day program for band directors and graduate students to learn from world-class musicians and professors. Through an application process and recommendations from my teachers, I’ve been chosen to participate in this workshop.
I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in music education from TAMUK and have returned to TAMUK to pursue my Masters in Wind Conducting. Throughout college, I’ve worked part-time and applied for scholarships to support myself. Now, as a graduate teaching assistant, I continue to work toward my dreams in music education. This workshop is a unique chance to learn from tenured professors and conduct the UNT Wind Symphony, an ensemble with world-class musicians. It’s an experience that will help me grow as a conductor and educator.
The funds raised will help me pay for tuition, travel, housing, and food so I can attend the workshop and make the most of this incredible opportunity. Any help would be deeply appreciated as I take this next step. Thank you for your support!
