Dear Friends, Family, and Potential Sponsors,
I am honored to announce that I was recently crowned Mrs. Orange County for the Mrs. Florida America Pageant. I will soon compete for the Mrs. Florida title on March 3 – 5 at Westgate Lakes Resort and Spa in Orlando, FL.
The Mrs. America system has been the most prestigious pageant for married women since 1977. There is an open opportunity to represent the state of Florida at the inaugural Mrs. America competition in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This title gives me a year to speak to civic groups and business organizations, appear in print and television commercials, and conduct countless interviews with press members. In partnering with the Mrs. America organization, I am using this year to continue raising awareness of women's health issues, especially those that directly relate to the family unit's health.
I am using my platform to provide resources and information related to women's health issues, parenting, and relationship advice from credible sources. My goal is to nurture healthy marriages, which are at the root of healthy families and healthy mothers who are the heart of the family unit.
Being Mrs. Orange County allows me to speak to women of all ages about making healthy life choices that will affect them today and in the future.
In dealing with healthy choices, we must address our country's current fatherless and broken family epidemic. We must empower women in their role of maintaining a healthy mind, body, and family unit. Families are the strength of a nation. They form stable communities, and stable communities form a stable country. We must empower and inform women of all ages about their role in their family's health, which begins with personal health and self-care.
During this journey to compete for the national title of Mrs. America, I am requesting sponsorship. Some financial obligations go into preparing for the Mrs. Florida Pageant in March and living out my reign for the year. I am seeking assistance to help pay for my pageant wardrobe, photoshoots, lodging, and the maintenance and fees associated with maintaining my platform TheLavenderLife613.com.
Currently, the most significant financial burden is my evening gown. Each contestant is scored on how gracefully she carries herself on stage during the pageant. My gown could be the deciding factor between other amazing contestants and me. I believe I have what it takes to represent the state of Florida, with poise, grace and timeless feminine glamour, but I need assistance paying for the gown that brings my vision to life.
I humbly ask for your consideration in donating to support me on my journey to Mrs. Florida. I anticipate my total expenses to be about $6,000. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. Suppose I happen to raise more than necessary. In that case, any additional funds will be donated to One Heart for Women and Children, a 501©(3) not-for-profit organization actively working to rebuild the lives of women and children facing adversity.
I hope to hear from you soon.
