<div>Thank you for your interest in my current situation. I recently had my 20th birthday. Just a few months ago I started my adventure into adulting with my first real job. The future was bright with endless possibilities. Then BAM! I woke up and couldn’t feel the left side of my face. Just 5 days later the whole left side of my body went numb. A week after that the symptoms covered nearly my entire body. Weird right!?Dr’s thought maybe a stroke, maybe MS(multiple sclerosis) or maybe lupus. They settled in MS. I was hospitalized 16 days during two stays at different hospitals. Although it stinks to have to rely on others just as I thought I was becoming an independant woman I feel blessed to have some help. Now I use a wheel chair and a walker to get around like…uh hmmm..an elderly lady.

<div>  The reason for the fundraiser is to help with medical expenses and travel. Not all of my treatment and testing has been covered by insurance. Also I’m being referred for treatment to a Gainesville FL physician’s group that’s specialty is MS in young adults. Help with the expense of hotels, gas and food will be greatly appreciated.

<div>  Thanks so much. I can’t say that I’m loving life right now but life is definitely good, even during this bumpy season. I’m ready for life’s next chapter to start as soon as this one comes to pass with Gods blessings.
