<div>As my journey to my career picks up in speed, I have been given a contract to march with the Academy (a Drum Corp International) group. THIS IS NOT FOR HIGH SCHOOL OR COLLEGE BAND. This is considered the “professional version” of marching band or like being a D1 football player going into the NFL. Unfortunately because it’s not as well known as football, I don’t get paid to perform, I have to pay instead. I will be in Arizona for about a month and a half and will be traveling another month and a half and touring with this group around the nation and performing our show. With this comes money, and to be honest it’s a lot. In total they are requiring a payment of 6,000 dollars. I have already paid out of my own pocket 2,200 that I had saved in my savings account. On top of the 6,000 they ask for me to pay for a plane ticket there and back from Arizona every month adding another 230 dollars. In total per month I am paying about 1,030 dollars. I work as much as I can with my crazy schedule and am reaching out for the help of anyone who is willing to. Thank you!
