<div>My name is <strong>Ashton Brooke</strong>, and I’m currently in inpatient recovery at Willow Springs Recovery in Bastrop, Texas, where I’ve been since <strong>December 3, 2025.</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This past year has been one of the hardest of my life. I am a single mother, and my daughters were removed by CPS in<strong> January 2025</strong>. Since then, I’ve been navigating a system that is overwhelming, rigid, and unforgiving—where even small setbacks can derail reunification.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Instead of giving up, I chose treatment, accountability, and recovery.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I come from a family impacted by addiction. My mother struggled her entire life and passed away from her addiction at age 45 in 2014. I am determined to break that generational cycle - not just for myself, but for my daughters.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>If I remain compliant with my CPS Family Plan of Service, my daughters have the possibility of coming home <strong>as early as March 2026</strong>. One of the most critical requirements for reunification is <strong>stable and safe housing.</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Without housing, I am immediately out of compliance—and my chance to bring my girls home is jeopardized.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Despite challenges with credit and past rental history, I was <strong>approved for a home this morning (December 20, 2025)</strong>. This is a huge breakthrough. However, I must pay <strong>$3,350 in move-in costs immediately</strong>, which includes:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<ul>

<li>First month’s rent (January)

</li>

<li>Security deposit

</li>

</ul>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Once this is paid, I can receive the keys right away, and the property owner has agreed to give me the remainder of <strong>December rent-free,</strong> allowing me to move in immediately.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Getting the keys as soon as possible is imperative. I am currently facing eviction, and without access to the home, I <strong>risk losing everything I own</strong>, including mine and my daughters’ belongings. I will be receiving a day pass from treatment to move my things and prevent a total loss - but that can only happen once the move-in costs are paid.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I also have a job lined up to begin in <strong>January after discharge</strong>, which will allow me to maintain housing and provide financial stability for my family going forward. This fundraiser is not about long-term support - it is about clearing a <strong>very real, very urgent barrier </strong>so I can stay compliant, stabilize, and reunify with my children.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>How the Funds Will Be Used</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>All funds will be used for:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<ul>

<li>$3,350 in move-in costs (first month’s rent + deposit)

</li>

<li>Securing keys immediately to prevent loss of belongings and housing instability

</li>

</ul>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>Why This Matters</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Housing is not optional in a CPS case - it is mandatory. Without it, recovery progress and compliance do not m<span style="color:inherit;font-family:inherit;font-size:1rem;">atter.</span>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This home represents safety, stability, and the foundation required for my daughters to come home.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>If you’re able to donate, thank you. If you’re not, sharing this fundraiser helps just as much. Time truly matters here.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you for suppo<span style="font-family:inherit;font-size:1rem;color:inherit;">rting a mother who is doing everything she can to rebuild and bring her children home.</span>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>With gratitude,

</div>
