 I recently experienced something no pet owner ever wants to go through. My dog suddenly suffered a slipped disc in her back and completely lost the ability to walk.

 I rushed her to the emergency vet, where I learned just how serious her condition was. She needed emergency spinal surgery, and without it, I could have lost her. There was no question in my mind—I had to give her the chance to survive and hopefully walk again.
