<div>My name is Rodney Palmer, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of my brother, aunt, and uncle in Water Works, Westmoreland, Jamaica. Our community was devastated by Hurricane Melissa, one of the most powerful storms ever to hit the island. Winds over 185 mph ripped through homes, uprooted trees, and left countless families with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

<div><strong>Three of my family members’ homes (brother, aunt, and uncle) were completely destroyed.</strong> They’ve lost everything, but they haven’t lost hope. They’re strong, proud people who have always faced hardship with faith and determination. Still, rebuilding from nothing is nearly impossible without help.
