<div>Hi, my name is Caroline and I am raising funds for a dear friend in Gaza, Anas Arafat.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Anas is a lawyer and human rights advocate who has been helping people in Gaza for many years.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you to everyone who has supported the work that Anas and a small team of volunteers do. Every single donation counts and gets vital aid to people who are displaced.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We launched this GoFundMe nearly a year ago and the need for support has become even greater. With the blockaid of aid and rising food prices, families are suffering greatly.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If we can get $2500 donated each day, that can provide a hot meal for 400 families who are facing starvation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Last year when we launched this it was winter in Gaza, and the focus was on providing bread, hot meals, clean water, warm clothes, baby milk, pampers, medicine, blankets and mattresses.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Plesse see the photos of the work that your donations have made possible. These photos are of Anas and team providing bread, clean water, hot meals and blankets. You can also watch this video and see the impact of your donations in helping people in desperate need: <a href="https://www.facebook.com/share/r/8Wa5uiVvJ59fosxP/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><a href="https://www.facebook.com/share/r/8Wa5uiVvJ59fosxP/" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.facebook.com/share/r/8Wa5uiVvJ59fosxP/</a></a>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>One of the most powerful things we can do right now to help people in Gaza is to support mutual aid initiatives. Mutual aid works because people who are there on the ground can see what is needed most in terms of disaster relief for the people who are impacted.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Anas has helped bring water trucks to supply clean drinking water to people in need, cooked up large meals such as rice for people, provided parcels of cleaning products, helped people find a tent if they need shelter, and much more.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please support the incredible work of Anas Arafat in getting critical aid to people in Gaza right now. You can follow Anas on Facebook (see his profile <a href="https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100008448283358&amp;mibextid=ZbWKwL" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Anas Anas profile on Facebook</a>) and see his updates from Gaza, and you can also see the incredible work he's done over many years as co-founder of Plant the Land Team Gaza.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for your kindness and support.
