Support Ms. Z's New 5th Grade Classroom

Hi everyone! For those of you who don't know me, my name is Zulema, but my school knows me as Ms. Z. I have been working as a permanent substitute for my elementary school for about two years now (meaning I stay in the same school and substitute whenever a teacher is absent). In April of this year, I decided I wanted to try to get my own classroom, so I took the CSET multiple subject & I passed on the first try! However, when I tried to get into the district intern program, they were not accepting new applicants, meaning my hopes of getting my own classroom went out the window, or so I thought.

Last Thursday, my principal called me to let me know that one of my school's 5th grade teacher's would not be returning, and she had already filled in my paperwork to get me into the classroom on an emergency provisional credential! I am so excited to start this new chapter in my career, but there is one problem: We start school next week! I do not have all the supplies or resources to make my new room feel like home for my scholars. Any donations will be used for the sole purpose of turning my first classroom into a loving, safe, happy learning environment for my new students. Thank you so much, in advance!
