Support Mrs. Tinkess through her Cancer Journey

To know her is to love her, but even a million times more if you are three or four years old.
Denise is one of the most kind, humble, selfless and joyful humans that I have ever met. Any parent of a child who has had the blessing of having Mrs. Tinkess as a teacher knows that she is an absolute treasure. She is a person that has poured out loved to so many children in our community and we are all so lucky to know her. She puts others before herself, and always wants the best for those around her. This woman is a gem of a human and in her time of need I hope we can all rally around her (and her family) to ease the financial burden that cancer presents.
I would like to share Denise's own words below regarding her diagnosis and thoughts, which I believe truly show just how selfless she is:
"Hello, my friends and family! I'm sorry in advance for this post. I have bad news. Unfortunately, I have been diagnosed with breast cancer, I will begin therapy today (12/14/2023). The good news is that they have caught it early, and the doctors are optimistic. I never thought I would tell this kind of news in a post. But I told the people I needed to and it was like a knife through my heart every time. I just can't do that over and over again. I would have liked to keep it to myself rather than worrying those that I love. But honestly, we have a rough road ahead. I think I need to be transparent about this journey. I do believe the Lord is with me. He will give me courage in my fear, strength in my weakness, and joy and silver linings even on the toughest of days. The doctors and team have been great. The outpouring of love and support (from near and far) that I have received brings tears to my eyes...happy tears, thank you. Please keep my family in your prayers. Thank you so much. I love you all!" - Denise Tinkess
Lets show the Tinkess family some love and support from the Baymonte community and beyond!!!
