He has been by my side through thick and thin, but now that he is in his golden years, his health is catching up to him.Recently, the vet noted signs that point to potential metabolic issues, heart strain, and kidney changes. Because an aging dog's organs are all deeply connected, a problem in the metabolism or kidneys can put massive, dangerous stress on the heart.To find out exactly what is going on and get him on the right life-saving medications, the vet urgently needs to run a Senior Comprehensive Blood Panel. This includes critical testing for kidney function (BUN and Creatinine) and metabolic stability.Unfortunately, I am on a very tight budget and cannot afford the upfront cost of these diagnostic lab fees on my own.
