<div>This spring, our chapter of<strong> Sigma Alpha Epsilon</strong> is raising money in support of Movember, a non-profit that supports men's mental health and prostate and testicular cancer research.

<div><strong>A man dies by suicide once every 43 seconds,</strong> and as a fraternity we are committed to helping reverse this trend. Our chapter prides itself on being a community where brothers support one another and making sure that no brother struggles alone. However, not all men are fortunate enough to have such a community. By partnering with Movember <strong>we can connect men with the resources they need</strong> to combat growing male social isolation, loneliness, and other mental health challenges.

<div>Movember also supports research and global policy initiatives focused on testicular and prostate cancer. This issue is a personal one for us, because we have a brother who has been battling testicular cancer himself. <strong>Both prostate and testicular cancer commonly affect young men, with the highest risk of testicular cancer being for men ages 20-34 years old.</strong> However, with increased awareness and early prevention measures this is a curable disease that young men can fight.
