Help Moroccan Family Caring for Daughter w/Cancer

Hajar (age 15) and her father traveled from Morocco to treat his daughter's leukemia at Sloan Memorial Cancer Center in NY about six months ago.  Hajar urgently needed chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant, so they proceeded to treat her immediately. Unfortunately, she got a transplant which was not a full match. Since then, she has been suffering the after effects of the transplant and has not been doing well. Her little sister was brought from Morocco over the summer as she was tested and is a good match. Hajar has not recovered from the treatments and is not well enough to get the transplant. Her family has been informed that there is nothing left that they can do for her.  Since they have been here, they have had to incur expenses for daily living like food while at the hospital and transportation from Ronald McDonald house and simple things that we take for granted. Hajar, her mother, father and little sister are here for the next several months, but will be leaving after they finalize transportation and medical care for Hajar.  Our family met Hajar & her family while getting treatment for my niece at Sloan who also has leukemia. We prayed and supported them in anyway that we could. Sadly, their story is not as it should have ended. We ask that everyone pray for her and donate as much as you can without causing hardship upon your household. We need to get them through the next several months until they make the trek home with Hajar, without a cure. p.s the picture you see of Hajar is one that was taken early on, before all her treatment. we didn't have the heart to put up the most recent picture of her which is absolutely heart-breaking.
