Hi! My name is Montana Descoteau and I am a freshman nursing major at Shepherd University, and I recently joined the Medlife Chapter at Shepherd.

Medlife is an organization that travels internationally on volunteer service learning trips. Their mission is to build a worldwide movement that works to provide equal access to healthcare, education, and housing to those in need.

This May, I have been given the opportunity to go on one of these volunteer trips to Tena, Ecuador. I have a strong passion for volunteer work and providing care for people in need. I want to make a difference by helping others while also gaining skills that will benefit me in my future healthcare career. This trip is very costly, so any help is greatly appreciated!
