My name is Alyssa Carpenter and I am organizing this to support my good friend and colleague Monica Loreen Dillon who suffered an unexpected injury in late July in Edmonton that is impacting her ability to work full-time and do day-to-day tasks in her daily life.

This injury requires surgery and a recovery period with physio as well. She will be unable to work full-time in her NGO role (Inuvialuit Communications Society and Western Arctic Youth Collective) to accommodate her everyday living costs and the expected expenses in her recovery process.
