<div>While I am not one to try and ask for help.. we need it. On Thursday November 6th, I received a desperate call that mom sounded off. I got in my car and drove the almost two hours to her. Her speech slow, her mind confused. The original hospital sluffed it off and sent her home. The next morning it was clear. Mom was having a stroke. Paramedics confirmed and she was rushed to hospital. They were able to remove a bloodclot that caused it but the damage was done. Mom lost all function on her right side and her speech. She is currently in a rehabilitation center. As a family we are hopeful for recovery but the road is long. Mom was still working full time. She was just moving into a new house that was easier for her mobility, a place with no steps and small enough to get around. We need help with medical expenses and trying to keep things afloat while she works 100 % on recovery. I NEED her to still have a home to go back to, one thats fit for her new normal. While her new normal is still uncertain I want to stay positive and strong..Hard to do when you dont actually know what tomorrow looks like. I have drained my savings to get her situated enough. Im pleading for help! I need my mom to get better. I need her to not have to worry while she's trying to regain herself back.
